Hatayspor is the club whose men’s team Okyere’s compatriot Christian Atsu plays for. “I have not been sleeping for four days – I’m so scared to go to sleep,” Okyere told BBC Sport Africa. “We don’t know anything about the men’s team because they live far from us, even though we live in the same city,” she explained. “For management, we don’t know anything about their whereabouts.

Alireza Akbari: Iran executes British-Iranian dual national, state media says

British-Iranian dual national Alireza Akbari, who was sentenced to death in Iran, has been executed, Iranian state media says. On Friday, UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly warned that “Iran must not follow through with their brutal threat of execution”. Iran posted a video of Mr Akbari this week showing what appeared to be forced confessions. The United States had joined calls for Iran not to execute Mr Akbari – US diplomat Vedant Patel said “his execution would be unconscionable”. Mr Akbari alleged that he was “interrogated and tortured” by intelligence agents “for more than 3,500 hours”.

Leslie Jordan: Will and Grace star dies aged 67

The US actor and comedian Leslie Jordan has died aged 67, his agent has confirmed. The star, known for his roles in Will and Grace and American Horror Story, was killed in a fatal car crash in Los Angeles on Monday morning, US media reported. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1955, he came out as gay to his mother aged 12 in the deeply conservative US state. His fame grew while starring in the US sitcom Will and Grace as Beverley Leslie – a role for which he won a Primetime Emmy in 2006. New York court dismisses Kevin Spacey sexual assault lawsuit
