Tony, an electrician, died of a heart attack on December 14 - just three weeks before Angela lost her battle to pancreatic cancer on January 3. Not everyone's happyTony and Angela received a joint funeral service at St Columba's Church, Huyton, on January 17. "When dad died everyone's focus went on Angela because I had to go and tell Angela in the hospice and that was horrific. It was really, really sad." Paying tribute to Tony, Beverley described him as a "funny and hardworking" dad and grandad.

For nine years, Kat Croxford has had possibly one of the most impressive addresses going: Lyme Park, Cheshire. But she’s not part of the landed gentry - she’s the house and collections manager, a job that means she gets to live in a grand house and among luscious gardens, moorland and a deer park. Lyme Park is a gem in the Trust’s portfolio boasting acres of glorious parkland. But her unusual home set-up has also given her another unique experience: maternity leave in a mansion. She then spent two years at Buckland Abbey near Plymouth and three at Plas Newydd in Anglesey, before moving to Lyme Park in 2013.

It was not just in Manchester where they were welcomed with open arms to perform before a sea of waving arms and deafening screams. Signing off with an encore performance of 'About You Now', I found myself crossing my fingers, hoping that this new Sugababes era is a comeback here to stay.
