Tesco shoppers issued warning as Clubcard app set to be axed

Tesco will also ditch the Clubcard app, although a date is yet to be announced with it said to be closing " later this year". The changes mean that from February 27 if shoppers want to scan a single barcode to pay and to collect Clubcard points in Tesco stores, they will need to download the revamped Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app, previously the Tesco Grocery app. A spokesperson told Money Saving Expert: "Bringing the functionality of Tesco Pay+ into the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app is a demonstration of our focus on providing products which closely align to the needs of Tesco shoppers." It comes as Tesco shoppers are being urged to use their vouchers before they expire next week. Tesco Mobile customers have also been issued a warning amid rising prices set to come into force shortly.
