Lancers Come Back To Beat Georgetown 3-2 In Overtime

The Hoyas converted on their first penalty corner of the match off the stick of Vivienne Trumpbour to grab an early lead. The Lancers again out-shot the Hoyas in the frame, but Schouten's equalizer was the only score in the third. Despite this, Longwood was unable to break the tie, and the Lancers headed to their second overtime in two games.The offensive output slowed down as overtime began, with the period's first shot coming nearly eight minutes in following a Georgetown green card. With time running low on Longwood's advantage, it looked as if we would be headed to a second consecutive double-overtime.
