Two Solway Shark youngsters have been selected to play at the world’s most prestigious junior hockey tournament in Canada. For the first time in six decades, girls’ teams from around the world have been invited to participate in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. Mollie lives and breathes ice hockey. There was also a table set up at the Men’s Solway Sharks game on January 28 to help girls reach their financial goals. Scotland will be the best place to view the partial solar eclipse that will grace skies across the UK next week as the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. Man sparks debate after refusing to switch plane seat for mum and baby on 10-hour flight

The male boarded the 10-hour flight from Europe to Asia and was asked by the woman if he could switch seats with her husband in another row. That then sparked a tiff between passengers when he refused to move from his paid seat for a mum and her baby. "When we boarded, there was a woman holding a baby sitting in the middle seat. My wife agrees with me that her poor planning is not our problem and that we should have stayed out if there were no other first row seats."
