People in the Portland area woke Thursday to a heavy blanket of snow, with Portland International Airport recording 10.8 inches by Thursday morning. “The bulk of the snow is over for the Portland metro,” Neuman said, with clear skies overnight, and into Friday. High temperatures in the Portland metro area will only reach about 32 degrees. The cold temperatures will keep much of the current snow on the ground into the weekend.”The snow chance for Portland and Vancouver has ended. Snow showers, Forgeron wrote, will taper off and the next two-and-a-half days will be dry.
