Harry Potter's Ralph Fiennes defends J.K. Rowling again

Ralph Fiennes, the actor behind Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies, again voices his support for Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, another person who shall not be named in certain circles. Fiennes, who previously came to Rowling's defense when the controversy was heating up in 2021, spoke to The New York Times in a recent interview in which he mentions the Harry Potter creator. It's just a woman saying, 'I'm a woman and I feel I'm a woman and I want to be able to say that I'm a woman.' The star-studded events featured performances by Foo Fighters as well as some of Hawkins' favorite bands including Rush and Queen. His son, Shane Hawkins, also poignantly joined Foo Fighters on drums to perform their 1998 song "My Hero" in honor of his dad.

Donald Trump, Boris Johnson helped inspire Wendell and Wild villain

If you watch Wendell & Wild, the new stop-motion animated film from director Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas), and get Donald Trump or Boris Johnson vibes from the Lane Klaxon character, there's a reason for that. We met, and we started working out the historic characters and everything, and there was gonna be a little Trump inspiration, but we went, 'Jesus Christ! Wendell and Wild Lyric Ross stars in 'Wendell & Wild' as an Afro-punk teen whose tricked into summoning two demon brothers to the land of the living. Peele, who co-wrote and executive produced Wendell & Wild with Selick, was instrumental in shaping the story and its villains. Wendell & Wild is available in theaters now before hitting Netflix on Friday, Oct. 28.

SNL recap: Dave Chappelle hosts 2022 post-election episode

I am joined tonight by former SNL cast member Gary Kroeger. Previous incarnations of this sketch featured hosts Gretchen Carlson (Vanessa Bayer), Steve Doocy (Taran Killam), and Brian Kilmeade (Bobby Moynihan). This is noteworthy as Chappelle and Ye have a long history together, going back to when Ye performed with Common on Chappelle's Show. Jose Suarez (Marcello Hernandez) wants to run for president one day, he's inspired. I do like the breaking of the fourth wall here, as Day and Chappelle keep interrupting the proceedings.
