The Grizzlies started out slow, as the Cavaliers jumped out to a 13-3 lead in the early portion of the quarter. Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane helped fuel a monster run for the Grizzlies in the second quarter, blitzing the Cavaliers in a 20-0 run. They led this game tonight by 19 in the 2nd quarter. Darius Garland was cooking all night, dissecting the Grizzlies’ defense with his scoring and his passing chops.

The Chicago Bears win against the New England Patriots was undoubtedly the most complete this team has looked all season, with both the offense and defense performing strongly for the first time in primetime. Despite Coach Bill Belichick’s public breakdown of the Bears’ offense, as well as an apparent quarterback controversy that only got worse for the Patriots, the Chicago Bears came into Monday Night confidant and ready, and it showed in every minute of the Bears’ 33-14 victory. While most of the attention rests on the Bears’ 243 rushing yards, the defense, especially the rookies, stood out as absolute game-changers. Outside of the Bears’ top two picks from last year’s draft, fifth-round draft pick Dominique Robinson played well in rotation at the defensive end position and forced a turnover himself. The Bears’ defensive rookies certainly changed the outcome of the game, accounting for three of the four turnovers the team forced on Monday Night Football.

Golf Teams’ Fall Season Brings Hope for Spring – The Grizzly

Isabel Wesman ([email protected])This year’s fall season for Men’s and Women’s Golf was a little shorter than usual, but nevertheless ended up being surprisingly sweet despite various setbacks. However, the golf teams were able to start competing in late September and made do throughout almost their whole season with the help of their peers. One week before the season ended on October 18th, Matt Reed was officially hired as the new head golf coach to oversee the men’s and women’s teams. Golf ’s Spring season is coming up in March. Golf ’s fall season is almost a precursor to the slightly longer, more heavily weighted Spring season, and so the Bears have a lot to look forward to next semester.
