In the past, holding units for recycled water were the old percolating ponds, designed to perc. “Our rates are higher but the price remains steady creating a stability of supply with the investment in infrastructure like our recycled water system. “When you go with the behavioral model, it can cause friction between neighbors; it’s not a good way to operate. Mr. Briggs asserts that Measures O and P are a tax “increase in my book” despite the fact that everyone in Mendocino County will pay exactly the same percentage of sales tax they pay today if both measures pass. Measures O and P will NOT raise sales taxes, because an equal percent of local tax allocation is sunsetting soon. Locally citygovernments can add their own tax, and it is only in Willits that local sales tax brings the total to over 9%. Detailed facts about current sales tax levels throughout the county can be found at https://www.cdtfa.ca.gov/formspubs/cdtfa95.pdf. The most common question I have been getting from students and faculty colleagues is why would Musk want to take Twitter private? Public vs. privateLet’s start with the basic differences between a public and private company.
