Thanks to Vale historian Phil Sherwin for revealing Derby’s following will be the biggest away support at Vale Park for a league game since Bolton Wanderers brought 4,308 in April 2017. Tickets for the Derby game are selling well among Vale fans. A five-figure ‘gate’ for the Derby game would be pretty much guaranteed if Vale followed the example of some other clubs who count total tickets issued in their official attendance figures. “Derby were handed a total allocation of 3,902 tickets for the match and these have now completely sold out. THE Vale Supporters Club has a limited number of tickets still available for the ‘Evening with Gareth Ainsworth’ dinner on Friday February 3.

Brave Scarlett battles back after major surgery when she was only four weeks old

And surgeons discovered Scarlett was suffering from a condition where the bowel twists and stops part of the blood supply. Now Scarlett is seven years old and is 'fit and healthy'. They immediately took her to their GP who advised that they attend the A&E at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Scarlett was diagnosed with Volvulus - a condition that occurs when the bowel twists so the blood supply to that part of the bowel is cut off.

Two-year-old boy died after being exposed to mould at his home, coroner rules

After six days of evidence at Rochdale Coroners Court, Ms Kearsley said medical advice given to Awaab's family also meant he received 'sub-optimal' care that could not prevent his cardiac arrest. "Awaab Ishak died as a result of a severe respiratory condition caused due to prolonged exposure to mould in his home environment," she told the court. Port Vale are out of the FA Cup after a 3-2 defeat at home to fellow League One side Exeter City. First half Vale were top class and should have been well clear of Exeter by half time. Second half we were a different team, gave Exeter too much space to get shots off and seemed to lose momentum. Disappointing really but lessons need to be learned in putting our chances away when we are on top in a game." In the second half we were often second best playing mostly in our own half.
