OMEGA X agency apologizes after alleged physical, verbal abuse on group members

SPIRE Entertainment, the talent agency of K-pop group OMEGA X, released an official statement following the alleged physical and verbal abuse by the agency’s CEO towards the group’s members. But the tickets were canceled shortly after rumors of verbal and physical abuse by the agency head towards the group members spread online. ADVERTISEMENTHowever, OMEGA X members reportedly bought tickets using their own money and they were able to board a flight returning to Korea on Oct. 24, as per Korean news agency SBS News. OMEGA X is composed of 11 members, namely Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk and Yechan. ‘Romeo and Juliet’ child actors sue over 1968 nude scene

LOS ANGELES, United States — The actors who played star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film are suing Paramount Pictures for child abuse over their brief nude scene, their lawyer said Tuesday. Olivia Hussey was 15 and Leonard Whiting 16 when they starred in the Oscar-winning version of William Shakespeare’s tragedy. “Defendants were dishonest and secretly filmed the nude or partially nude minor children without their knowledge, in violation of the state and federal laws regulating indecency and exploitation of minors for profit,” the suit says. “(Paramount) have images that they know are images of underage nudity that should be removed from the film. Variety reported that during its 2018 interview with Hussey, she had defended the nude scene, which she insisted Zeffirelli had done tastefully.

David Bunevacz gets more than 17 years in US jail for fraud

Based on the report, Bunevacz’s investors were told that their funds would be used to finance companies marketing cannabis vape pens. To conceal his control of these shell companies and the bank accounts associated with them, Bunevacz listed other individuals, including his stepdaughter, as the corporate officers of the shell companies. After one investor uncovered a lawsuit against Bunevacz, Bunevacz emailed a counterfeit version of the settlement agreement to falsely make it appear that he had been paid $325,000 as part of a settlement.
