What if Biden spikes Elon Musk’s Twitter deal at the last minute with a national security review? Shares are falling.

Biden administration officials are discussing whether the US should subject some of Elon Musk’s ventures to national security reviews, including the deal for Twitter Inc. and SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network, according to people familiar with the matter. Officials in the US government and intelligence community are weighing what tools, if any, are available that would allow the federal government to review Musk’s ventures. One possibility is through the law governing the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States to review Musk’s deals and operations for national security risks, they said. The Washington Post reported that Musk’s plan for Twitter involve slashing its staff by 75% in a matter of months. This waste-to-energy incinerator burns sewage to produce electricity—and to power its indoor spa

For most people, a sludge incineration site doesn’t sound like the ideal day out, but T-Park was designed to entice visitors. T-Park says it burns 1,300 tonnes of sewage sludge per day, generating enough electricity to power the facility itself as well as producing a surplus, which T-Park sells to the grid. Of course, combusting sludge produces carbon too but, those emissions are net-zero because the waste is organic matter. Like oil refineries, today’s waste incinerators should prepare for a future of dwindling supply. At a global scale, the top meter of soil holds more than three times the volume of carbon currently in our atmosphere.

Musk said Twitter should be “warm and welcoming to all” and enable users to choose the experience they want to have. Musk is expected to speak to Twitter employees directly Friday if the deal is finalized, according to an internal memo cited in several media outlets. But he has shared few concrete details about his plans for the social media platform.

Twitter employees asked for ideas to improve product, reduce costs, or increase revenue.

On Friday afternoon, Twitter employees received an email asking them to submit their “great ideas” for the social media company. One source told Fortune that the company has long had a Slack channel for open-ended discussion of ideas to improve Twitter called #growth-ideas. “No bad ideas, so please be super-empowered to submit anything on your mind which could be great,” the Friday email said. So, if employees are eager to help Musk figure out how to repay the billions in debt he took out to buy Twitter, they now have a way to do so. If they’re looking to improve company culture, organizational structure, or the overwhelmed HR processes, they can click “Other.”
