By David Young, PAThe parents of Stormont Assembly member Alex Easton have died in a house fire in Co Down. Alec and Ann Easton, who were aged in their 80s, were treated for injuries but both died at the scene. “It is with deep regret that today we lost our dear parents Alec Easton and Ann Easton,” he said. DUP North Down MLA Stephen Dunne added: “I want to offer my sympathy and support to Alex and his family at this time. “It has shocked the local community in Bangor and the thoughts and prayers of everyone in the area are with Alex.”

By Andy Sims, PARiyad Mahrez climbed off the bench to fire Manchester City to a 1-0 win at Chelsea and cut the deficit to Premier League leaders Arsenal back to five points. But less than three minutes after coming on as substitutes with an hour gone, Jack Grealish teed up Mahrez for the winner which keeps Arsenal firmly in their sights. It also inflicted another defeat on Chelsea, still looking unconvincing under Graham Potter, but who gave City plenty of problems, particularly in the first half despite a double injury blow. Yet Chelsea came agonisingly close to scoring when Chukwuemeka cut inside Kyle Walker and struck a low shot which clanged against the inside of the near post. Guardiola sent on Grealish and Mahrez on the hour, and the double substitution paid instant dividends.

George Russell secures maiden F1 win in Mercedes one-two at Brazilian Grand Prix | Kildare Nationalist

By Philip Duncan, PA F1 Correspondent, InterlagosGeorge Russell claimed the first win of his Formula One career as Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen collided at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Russell and Hamilton shared the front row at Interlagos, but it was the younger Briton who delivered the better getaway. Behind Russell, Hamilton fended off Verstappen, but just nine corners into Sunday’s race the safety car was deployed. Their stricken machines were removed from danger and the safety car came in six laps later. From there, his victory never looked in doubt, taking the chequered flag 1.5 seconds ahead of Hamilton as Mercedes completed a one-two finish.

Ineos Group Limited is a British multinational chemicals company headquartered and registered in London. The BBC reported Ineos generates sales of around £50 billion (€57 million) and employs more than 26,000 people. Ineos owns French Ligue 1 club Nice, Swiss Super League side FC Lausanne-Sport and works with partner club Racing Club Abidjan of Ivory Coast Ligue One. QSI is currently the owner of French champions Paris St Germain and has a stake in Portuguese soccer club SC Braga.
