LONDON: Erik ten Hag criticized Manchester United’s lack of killer instinct after Michael Olize’s superb stoppage-time free kick rescued a 1-1 draw for Crystal Palace on Wednesday. “In the second half we had a lot of space to kill them and go for the second goal. Instead, United moved up to third, level on points with champions Manchester City and eight adrift of Mikel Arteta’s table-toppers. United have been revitalized by Ten Hag in the intervening eight months and the contrast between the two eras was immediately evident. But, to Ten Hag’s chagrin, United faded in the closing stages.
