The NFL still has plenty of exciting football this weekend featuring Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Dak Prescott and many other stars. 1 seed Chiefs (14-3) are coming off a bye and aiming for their fifth straight trip to the AFC championship game. The Eagles (14-3) led the NFL with 70 sacks and had four players with at least 10. The Bengals finished with three straight punts and only one first down on a roughing-the-punter penalty.

The Jets (7-10) ended the season with six straight losses, finishing a disappointing collapse for Robert Saleh’s squad. The Jets reached midfield with 7:28 left on a 27-yard penalty after a defensive pass interference call on Dolphins cornerback Kader Kohou. The Jets had tied it with about 12 minutes left on a 35-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein. Tight end Mike Gesicki led the Dolphins with 46 yards, including a 32-yard catch in the fourth quarter. Houston aims to close out the series on Sunday night when Lance McCullers Jr. starts against Nestor Cortes. Only one of 39 teams has recovered from a 3-0 postseason series deficit to win, Boston against the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS. Some Yankees fans, already angry after two losses in Houston, booed Judge after a pair of strikeouts and jeered Boone during pregame introductions.

Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin and Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel downplayed the idea of Flores’ familiarity with the Dolphins — and Tagovailoa — being an advantage for the Steelers. “You don’t really get all the fluff.”Many Steelers players have said it’s like having another head coach on staff. The NFL suspended Ross and fined him $1.5 million following a six-month investigation stemming from Flores’ racial discrimination lawsuit.
