Overnight roadworks will see lane closures in place. The motorway is affected near Milton Keynes as lane closures are planned on the M1 in both directions. Our overnight closures are under constant review and we aim to open the road earlier than the times displayed wherever possible. Other road closures and works this week include those on the M40 and a host of other major routes.

When Milton Keynes Theatre asked if I wanted to attend the opening night of Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty - I was unsure. She told me how Matthew Bourne's ballets were unlike any other. Beyoncé will return to the road for the first time since 2018 on her Renaissance World Tour. Announced on Tuesday, the worldwide trek comes in support of her Album of the Year-nominated 2022 release, Renaissance. Beyoncé will spend May and June touring Europe before beginning a North American leg on July 7th in Toronto. David Jude Jolicoeur, better known by his stage name Trugoy the Dove, one third of the iconic rap trio De La Soul, has died at the age of 54. De La Soul was nominated for six Grammy Awards, eventually winning for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the group’s collaboration with Gorillaz, “Feel Good Inc.”, in 2006.
