The Latest on the earthquake:___The United States will provide $85 million in initial earthquake aid to Turkey and Syria. They were hidden among emergency supplies in a truck that was one of six heading for Turkey or Syria. ___U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres is pressing the international community to provide money for Turkey and Syria and work on physical access for aid to earthquake-stricken parts of Syria. The U.N. Security Council in 2014 authorized aid deliveries to opposition-held parts of Syria from Turkey, Iraq and Jordan through four border crossings. ___U.N. aid shipments to northern Syria from Turkey resumed on Thursday morning following Monday’s earthquake.

Kansas City instead marched methodically down field only to twice settle for field goals, leaving the woebegone Rams surprisingly within 13-3 lead at intermission. We know Ansu well because we believed in him before others, but he has been through a difficult process,” Luis Enrique said. Luis Enrique guided a similar Spain squad to the semifinals of last year's European Championship. Twenty players on the current squad have no World Cup experience. False election claims overwhelm local efforts to push back

“Confidence that that vote is accurately counted and tabulated is not there,” said Ryan Schwebach, a grain farmer who is chairman of the three-member, all-Republican Torrance County Board of County Commissioners. They, too, told him they weren’t sure they could trust election results. The distrust erupted in Torrance County earlier this year, as commissioners were set to certify the results from the state’s June 7 primary. Angry residents denounced the results and the commissioners’ certification at a meeting -- a vote taken after the county elections clerk reported that the local election was secure and accurate. Trump won two-thirds of the vote in Torrance County.
