Jordan North has revealed that he was suspended from Rock FM for two weeks after falling asleep on the sofa at the station. Recollecting events, the BBC Radio One presenter explained he walked from Lava & Ignite, a nightclub in Preston's city centre, to Rock FM - around a 20 minute walk. Rock FM, it was just before Christmas, we used to do a thing called Cash for Kids, where we used to get people to drop off presents for - this is awful - for underprivileged kids. He decided to do one of those science, chemistry sets on the pool table at Rock FM." It wasn't such good news for Rick though, as he is reportedly still banned from Rock FM.

Strictly Come Dancing star, Helen Skelton, has shared a cheery post with her fans, thanking them for their continued support. In the latest live show, Helen and her dancing partner Gorka Marquez paid tribute to the BBC's centenary by dancing to the theme tune of Blue Peter. So far in the competition, Helen has improved week on week with higher scores after every performance. Following the elimination of comedian Jayde Adams and her dancing partner Karen Hauer, Helen appeared teary eyed for the loss of their fellow friends. Helen and Gorka will be gearing up to appear on this weeks Halloween special edition of the competition.

Rishi Sunak could charge people £10 for missed NHS appointments in a crackdown

On Wednesday (October 26), The Telegraph quoted the Prime Minister’s spokeswoman as saying Mr Sunak “stands by the sentiment” of the pledge to introduce a £10 penalty. Mr Sunak also said he would temporarily scrap VAT on energy bills from October if the price cap exceeded £3,000.
