Puskar) (Associated Press)PITTSBURGH (AP) — Tristan Jarry made 46 saves in his return from a lower-body injury to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins past the Ottawa Senators 4-1 on Friday night. Jake Guentzel scored twice for the Penguins to reach 20 goals for the sixth straight season. Rickard Rakell added his 17th and Jason Zucker his 13th as Pittsburgh earned a split of its home-and-home series with Ottawa. The Senators kept Jarry busy at times, but he held his ground to pick up his first victory since Dec. 20. Rakell jammed the loose puck by Talbott to put the Penguins up 11:14 into the first period.

“Confidence that that vote is accurately counted and tabulated is not there,” said Ryan Schwebach, a grain farmer who is chairman of the three-member, all-Republican Torrance County Board of County Commissioners. They, too, told him they weren’t sure they could trust election results. The distrust erupted in Torrance County earlier this year, as commissioners were set to certify the results from the state’s June 7 primary. Angry residents denounced the results and the commissioners’ certification at a meeting -- a vote taken after the county elections clerk reported that the local election was secure and accurate. Trump won two-thirds of the vote in Torrance County.
