Kiwior, 22, is set to complete a €25million (£21m) switch from Spezia to Arsenal during the next few days after a transfer fee was agreed. It is also the biggest sale in Spezia’s history and I imagine the club is happy with that too. Kiwior started his career at GKS Tychy in his native Poland before joining Belgian club Anderlecht in July 2016, aged 16.

It means Arsenal equal the win record they set in 2018 which was then matched by Manchester City in 2021. With the win, Jonas Eidevall’s side have now scored at least two goals in 11 of their last 12 matches. Jesse Marsch on borrowed time with Leeds in downward spiral after Fulham defeat

This damaging loss by Fulham plunged Leeds into the bottom three for the first time this season and they are two points below the safety line. All three Fulham goals came from Leeds errors and whatever Marsch is doing all week on the training pitch, it clearly isn’t working. It increasingly looks like Marsch’s Elland Road reign has gone past the tipping point and Leeds are locked in a downwards spiral. Marsch has managed just one point from six games and Marcelo Bielsa was sacked in February for a similar run. But Leeds are a mistake waiting to happen and sure enough they dropped a clanger to allow Fulham to level just six minutes later.

Max Verstappen sailed to his 13th victory this season at the United States Grand Prix after an epic battle at the Circuit of the Americas to bring home this year’s constructors' championship title for Red Bull. Just two weeks after his title win, Verstappen fought his way to the chequered flag after a slow pitstop hampered his early efforts.
