That will intensify even further and chairman Dave Cormack was at Recreation Park to witness the worst result in the club’s history. Aberdeen were humiliated 5-0 at Hearts on Saturday and Goodwin threw the adjectives at it – ‘humiliating, pathetic, embarrassing and unacceptable’. Doddie Weir dies at 52: Tributes pour in for inspiring rugby star who fought MND

He was given an OBE in 2019 for services to rugby, to MND research and to the Borders community, where he lived on his family’s farm. [[success]] Email address Sign upIt was with interest this week I read the assessment of Scottish FA chief executive Ian Maxwell that VAR “is working” following its introduction in the Premiership in October. As far as he is concerned, it has allowed officials to get more things right, and that was the main purpose of its introduction. And he told BBC Scotland the software and technology being used is of a “gold standard” set-up. Prior to the brave new world of VAR there had been 17 awarded in 63 games. Since its introduction, the 30 matches in the Premiership have spawned 19 spot-kicks, a number of which have appeared ludicrous decisions.

This morning, the Supreme Court ruled Holyrood does not have the power to hold a referendum without Westminster’s approval.
