© Getty Images Rufus McLean has had his contract with Glasgow Warriors terminatedGlasgow Warriors have terminated the contract of Rufus McLean after the Scotland international pleaded guilty to domestic abuse charges. Following an internal disciplinary hearing in conjunction with Scottish Rugby, Glasgow Warriors confirmed on Tuesday that they had sacked the player on grounds of "gross misconduct" and "breach of contract". "Glasgow Warriors prides itself on being a family-centred club and are proud to always represent our fans and our city. "Rufus admitted domestic abuse and his actions cannot be condoned which has resulted in his employment with Glasgow Warriors ending. Mark Dodson said: "I fully support the approach taken by Glasgow Warriors in ending Rufus McLean's employment with the club.

Tom Cooper: Netherlands beating Bangladesh won't be considered an 'upset'

"There are some strong sides in the Super 12s stage, but we like our chances [against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe]," Cooper said. "You guys suggested it will be an upset [if Netherlands win], but we don't see it that way. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan said that his side would in no way treat Netherlands any differently to any other team. While the results were not always in their favour, Cooper believes the experience will do Netherlands a world of good.
