DHL said the matter would be passed to its lawyers unless she repaid the furlough cash. In a letter, it admitted she was overpaid by DHL Services Ltd and even apologised for any "inconvenience" she had been caused. The details emerged with the company already locked in a dispute with workers in Solihull over what was dubbed a "furlough fiasco". The company has been clawing money back from "overpaid" employees by taking it from wage packets since October 2021. She said she did not know how she would repay the money and feared legal action.
