By Pranav Shahaney 18th Feb, 2023 | 4:55pmEverton player ratings v Leeds United: Seamus Coleman stars, Vitaliy Mykolenko disappointsEverton made it two home wins from as many games under Sean Dyche as they beat Leeds United 1-0 on Saturday, 18 February. Here are our player ratings from the game:Jordan Pickford – 5Didn’t have to make any saves in the game as Leeds failed to even have a single shot on target. Seamus Coleman – 8An absolutely sensational goal from the captain who rolled back the years in this game. His last goal for the club was against Leeds last season but this one will certainly mean more. Amadou Onana – 5Not the best of games from Onana, given the high standards he’s set with his performances for Everton this season.
By George Overhill 31st Jan, 2023 | 6:25pmEverton fans right to be worried on deadline day amid Farhad Moshiri transfer promise - Sky SportsEverton fans are “right to be” worried about how the club’s deadline day is shaping up despite a promise from Farhad Moshiri for a striker, according to Vinny O’Connor. We strengthen the team and I have no doubt the second half of the season will be stronger. Speaking live on Sky Sports News from Finch Farm on Tuesday (31 January, 4.22pm) he was asked if fans were starting to get worried and said: “Yeah, and they are right to be I suppose. Don’t forget Farhad Moshiri promised them in an interview with the fans’ advisory board that they would get a striker in before the transfer deadline. However, the chances that it will be a sensible move and not a last-minute consolation reduce with every minute that passes.1 month ago Goodison News

Maybe the board needs the wake-up call of relegation to force them to stand up and take responsibility.2 months ago Goodison News
Reminded everyone of his capabilities with a wonderful tackle to deny Zaha early in the second half. Amadou Onana (off for Garner ’78) – 8Imperious in the centre of the park, after a strong second half at Newcastle. Some very neat play in the build up to the opener to illustrate his importance in the attacking game. Picked up the ball and drove towards the goal, then finished off from Iwobi’s wonderful return. Neal Maupay (on for Calvert-Lewin ’78) N/AJames Garner (on for Onana ’78) – N/ATom Davies (on for Gueye ’86) – N/AAbdoulaye Doucoure (on for Gordon ’86) – N/A5 months ago Goodison News
By Daniel Feliciano 14th Jan, 2023 | 4:58pmSeamus Coleman awful with 3/10, Amadou Onana shines with 8/10 - Everton player ratings v SouthamptonEverton suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League as James Ward-Prowse scored twice in the second half to earn all three points. But the lead didn’t last long as James Ward-Prowse capitalised on an error after just 50 seconds in the second half to slot home an equaliser. Vitalii Mykolenko – 6/10Everything good about the first-half came down the left flank with Mykolenko, but in the second half he couldn’t get into the game at all. Well deserved goal and continued that performance in the second half, showing exactly why we forked out big money to bring him in during the summer. Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 5/10Another 90 minutes under his belt, but Calvert-Lewin is not the same player he once was.2 months ago Goodison News

But speaking live on Sky Sports [23 October 19:33], both Ferdinand and Redknapp admitted that he hasn’t been playing regularly enough to get in the squad ahead of someone like Brentford’s Ivan Toney. Ivan Toney would have to be that player.”“My worry would be for him that he needs a run of games,” Redknapp added.5 months ago Goodison News
By George Overhill 12th Nov, 2022 | 5:30pmJeff Stelling reacted live on Sky Sports to “unsavoury scenes” as Everton fans directed their fury at the players following another loss at Bournemouth. Speaking live on Sky Sports on Saturday evening (12 November, 5.00pm) Stelling said over pictures of the anger between players and fans: “The fans are unhappy. Jordan Pickford turns his back, shirts are being flung at the players onto the pitch, these are very unsavoury scenes as far as Everton are concerned. Jordan Pickford you can see is shrugging his shoulders but he must understand their frustration. Everton fans are absolutely in despair, they are furious as well.4 months ago Goodison News
Here, Goodison News rates the Toffees players out of 10 for their performances in the long-awaited return to Premier League action. Slightly better in the second half and nearly found Cannon with a nice late cross but not a great game overall. Unsurprisingly clashed with Diego Costa minutes later, and looked comfortable at the back until the inevitable removal during the second half. James Tarkowski – 7Looked typically strong at the back and flew in with a couple of important sliding blocks before the Wolves equaliser. Abdoulaye Doucoure (on for Gueye ’83) – N/A3 months ago Goodison News
