The musician was a founding member of the hugely popular Sixties groups, the Byrds and Crosby, as well as Crosby, Stills & Nash. “It is with a deep and profound sadness that I learned that my friend David Crosby has passed,” Nash wrote on Facebook. Coming up in the same era as The Doors, David Crosby had the voice and songwriting abilities that made him completely unique.
