"Mr. Benn denied at all times the intentional or knowingly ingestion of any banned substances. On January 26, 2023, members of the WBC Results Management Unit held an inquiry session with Mr. Benn and members of his legal team. Mr. Benn shall be subjected to regular anti-doping testing to monitor the effect of the WBC-ordered nutritional program. "The WBC shall include Mr. Benn in its ratings during the period immediately following the issuance of its ruling. Mr. Benn’s position in the WBC Ratings shall be based solely on his merit and the customary factors the WBC Ratings Committee apply to rating boxers.

Efe Ajagba Boxes Past Stephan Shaw For Unanimous Decision

Two fights after his one-sided, unanimous-decision defeat to Frank Sanchez, Ajagba won what mostly amounted to a jabbing contest against previously undefeated Stephan Shaw by unanimous decision. Just before the ninth round ended, Shaw landed a right hand from long range. Shaw connected with a right hand with 1:15 to go in the seventh round. Shortly thereafter, Shaw landed a left hook while they were in the center of the ring. Ajagba avoided Shaw’s right hand and quickly came back to land a right hand of his own with 1:35 to go in the third round.
