Clarke: We Can Only Focus On Our Own ResultsSunday, 19th Feb 2023 09:05 Harry Clarke believes Ipswich Town have enjoyed a positive week in the race for promotion to the Championship. But yesterday’s 4-0 win against Forest Green Rovers, which saw Town gain points on Plymouth and Bolton, has rekindled some hopes. And Clarke said: “It felt like we needed a big three points and it was good to get a win at home and back-to-back clean sheets. But you take what I think is an amazing point and you would take two wins and three draws from five. “There were some good goals.
“We have to win the next game as soon as we can and take it game by game and try and build some momentum back up again. “But, having said all that, we still created more than enough to win the game and we didn’t give away that much. “I think he’s a really good prospect. 1ArnieM added 18:36 - Jan 21Yet another example where poor officials swing a tight game away fr9m us. 0Karlosfandangal added 18:57 - Jan 21Plymouth lose their best player and carry on winning we send £3 million and get worst.1 month ago TWTD

Oxford United 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match ReportSaturday, 21st Jan 2023 17:08 Town were left rueing missed chances as they lost further ground in the promotion battle following a 2-1 defeat in thick fog at Oxford United. Oxford swapped goalscorer Wildschut for Kyle Joseph and Marcus McGuane for Matty Taylor with the fog again having got thicker. 7TimmyH added 17:13 - Jan 21Without sounding like my needles stuck, another game not clinical enough and not defending well enough. 6Mariner1974 added 17:16 - Jan 21I'm curious if McKenna was actually given the chance to stop the game at 75 mins. Oxford are a good team but we don’t know how to adapt to playing good teams such as Oxford on their own patch.1 month ago TWTD
