Cockroaches at Dixy ChickenA chicken shop was hit with a £3,000 fine back in September after cockroaches were found coming through the wall. Birmingham City Council found a host of hygiene problems at the Dixy Chicken takeaway on Dudley Road in Edgbaston. The company was fined £3,000 as well as ordered to pay £2,423 in costs by Birmingham magistrates court in September. In September he was ordered to pay a £320 fine as well as £1,385 in damages.
