Dover Athletic confirm the appointment of 28 year old player turned manager Mitch Brundle, making him one of the youngest bosses in the UK. Brundle signed with League One club Bristol City after his release from Yeovil. Brundle signed a one year contract with Conference Premier club Braintree Town on the 30th of July 2014. Brundle signed a two-year contract with Dover Athletic, a fellow National League club, after his release from Gateshead. Tributes have been paid after the sad death of 25 year old former Tottenham and Portsmouth player Anton Walkes, confirmed on Thursday. MLS outfit Charlotte FC, who he had been playing with, have announced that the English defender has died at the age of 25, issuing a statement. We extend our deepest condolences to his partner, family, friends and the entire Charlotte FC family. After two more seasons at Portsmouth, Walkes returned to Atlanta United in January 2020.
