Netflix’s German-language World War I drama film, All Quiet on the Western Front, takes a big lead in nominations, with 14 nominations, including Best Director, Film, and Adapted Screenplay. In the performance category, 14 of the 24 nominees received their first BAFTA film nominations. But notable omissions prevented Spielberg’s latest picture, The Fabelmans, from capitalizing on the momentum at US awards, winning Golden Globes for Best Director and Best Film – Drama, as well as Best Screenplay. The awards will be announced on February 19 at the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards Ceremony, which will be hosted by Richard Grant.

2023 Screen Actors Guild Nominations -

These nominations come at the height of movie awards season, with Tuesday’s Golden Globes and Sunday’s Critics Choice Awards. With five nominations apiece, Banshees and Everything Everywhere are at the top, with the latter having seven film nominations overall. With leading TV networks and streaming services, Netflix has 12 nominations, with the final season of Ozark snagging four. Jean Smart (Hacks, Babylon) and Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) both have three nominations for their roles.

Album Review: No Age - People Helping People -

In experimenting with their sound, No Age creates a sound so rich with production that it is appreciated for the rest of the album. While the album definitely does not shy away from the experimental sound, it never denies the band its signature sound. The use of keyboards in the chorus truly brings that lush production that defines this album to the fore. The runs have that traditional sound without making it seem derivative. Closing the album, “Andy Helping Andy” slams the listener with the true prowess of the band.

Former Mumford & Sons Member Winston Marshall Makes Critical Commentary On The Music Industry -

American Horror Story: NYC is the eleventh season of the iconic television program, focusing on NYC in the 1980s. The first episode, aptly titled “Something’s Coming,” sets the scene for what’s to come in the following episodes. Viewers are introduced to gay couple Gino Barelli, played by Joe Mantello (The Normal Heart, Hollywood), and Patrick Read, played by Russell Tovey (The Good Liar, Grabbers). Now that Gino and Patrick are in between each other’s careers, what will be more important? Viewers are left with a startling cliffhanger as a faceless man throws Gino into the back of his car.
