GLAAD has revealed the full list of nominees for the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards! Honoring the best in LGBTQ+ films, television, music, and journalism, this year’s ceremonies will take place on March 30 and May 13 in Los Angeles and New York, respectively. Along with the competitive categories, GLAAD also chose several media projects and individuals that do not fit a specific category for Special Recognition Awards. Save City College: Vote Yes on Proposition O

Yet, in just weeks, corporate real estate interests have raised over $650K to oppose Proposition O. City College provides the accessible job training and educational opportunities that lower to middle income San Franscians need to afford housing in this city, and yet it is the largest owners of that housing who are opposing Proposition O. Building on Oakland’s innovative 2020 Measure Q for parks and homelessness, Proposition O extends the same progressive parcel tax structure to local school funding. These are the interests generating enormous profits from the city’s housing crisis, and they are opposing Proposition O to maintain the flat tax status quo in local school funding. Under Proposition O, Trinity Management would pay an estimated $250K per year to support higher education and job training.

Richard Childress Racing could still ultimately decide to run a third car during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, despite parting ways with Tyler Reddick. This remained the case even after Reddick announced that he would be signing with 23XI Racing for 2024, despite the not-so-secret displeasure shown by Richard Childress after that situation unfolded. But could Richard Childress Racing still end up running three entries during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season? Austin Dillon has driven full-time for his grandfather’s team in the Cup Series since 2014, but Ty has not done so. So while Kyle Busch is technically set to replace Tyler Reddick next year, another driver could technically end up being the driver who gets a seat at Richard Childress Racing because of Reddick’s early departure to 23XI Racing.
